Bookings & Deposits

Every group requires a non-refundable retainer/security deposit to secure your chosen dates.   Reservations are not complete until the retainer/deposit is paid and your contract agreement is signed.  Bookings will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Wyoming charges sales tax + lodging tax, for a total of 13% taxes.

Reschedules & Cancellations

We understand that life circumstances change, and that complications can come up when you've booked your stay so far in advance.  We will do our best to accommodate your requests where possible, but reserve the right to say no at our discretion.

You must contact us prior to your 60-day final payment date to make changes.  If you choose to cancel and not reschedule 60-days prior to arrival, you will forfeit your booking retainer. If you cancel at any point within 60-days of your arrival date, you will be responsible for the full amount due.  We will do our best to fill your rental dates with another group.  If we successfully fill your reservation, you will not be responsible for any further costs and will be refunded all payments, less the booking retainer.  If we are unable to fill your rental dates, you remain responsible for making full payment on your reservations.  You may also wish to help find a group to take over your date commitment; if you do, they will need to pay their own booking retainer/security deposit and sign the contract agreement to release you (the original party) from your financial commitment.

General Information

Please keep in mind the following:

  • Due to insurance limitations, you may not bring in outside service providers such as a massage therapist, nail tech, chiropractor, etc.  If one of the guests in your group wants to provide these services in a non-business-related way, this is allowed.
  • We have a Waitlist!  If the dates you want are booked, please reach out.  We are happy to contact you first should that weekend become available.
  • Hollowberry Manor is a non-smoking property.  This includes, but is not limited to nicotine/tobacco, marijuana, e-cigarettes, and vapes.  No smoking is allowed on the property, inside or out.  If you need to smoke, please take a walk or sit in your personal vehicle.  If we see or smell evidence of smoking, or the home is left with a strong smell that does not dissipate within 24 hours of Check-Out, a $300 fee will be charged to the card on file to pay for specialist cleaning services.
  • For safety reasons, no candles or other open flames allowed.
  • Guests for crafting retreats must be female and 18 years of age or older.  Guests 16 or 17 years of age must be accompanied full-time by their parent or guardian. Exceptions to this rule would be if a crafting group specifically included men; this would need to be disclosed at the time of booking, and all members informed.
  • We love pets! But we cannot accommodate them at the manor.
  • Hollowberry Manor is not liable for any loss, damage, or claim for any reason for any events outside our control. This includes loss of electricity, city water, utilities, cable or internet issues, personal injury, etc.  By entering the property, you acknowledge your responsibility for your personal care and safety.
  • You must stay in the room you reserved.  If any other room or bathroom is used, the card on file will be charged an extra cleaning fee of $150.  Additionally, please do not enter other spaces or rooms that have not been included in your stay.  They are likely under construction at some level, and we cannot guarantee your safety, or the room's safety.  Please respect any signs with instructions - they are there for a reason!

Guest Responsibilities

Being a Great Guest

A Great Guest will:

  • Clean up after themselves and treat this historic home with respect
  • Show kindness to others in the house
  • Be aware of their belongings, music, noise, light, etc, so as not to diminish another guest's experience
  • Not invite unregistered guests to the property

Caring for the Manor

In order to turn over such a large house for the next group, we ask that you do a few small tasks prior to leaving the property.  Check-Out includes:

  • Please strip the bed you used and place the bedding on the floor IN the bedroom.  Remake the bed with the provided linens under the bed in the bin.
  • Please turn off all the bedside lamps, and household lights.  Safety lights will still turn on after you leave.
  • Leave used towels hanging on the hooks, or on the floor in the bathrooms.
  • Put all dirty dishes in the dishwasher, but only start the cycle if the dishwasher is FULL.
  • Put all small appliances away in the cabinets.
  • Empty fridge of any food.  Unopened food/drinks may be left for the next guests' use.
  • Transfer all the kitchen trash to the large trashcans in the back.  These cans are accessed from the fence between the the back of the Creative Workspace and the Potting Shed.  Make sure gate is securely shut when finished.

In the Creative Workspace:

  • Please place personal trash can on your chair, and remove the bag.   Take this trash and the kitchenette trash to the large trashcans in the back (see above).
  • Put away all tools in their designated areas and wipe down the tables with the provided Clorox wipes.
  • Empty fridge of any food.  Unopened food/drinks may be left for the next guests' use. If any of the above are not done, you may incur an extra cleaning fee of up to $150, which will be charge to the card on file.
